When it comes to individuality...residents of the South Beaches tend to have it in spades! This is an area unto itself...with a feel more like the Florida Keys then the rest of South Brevard County.
The South Beaches start roughly just south of Spessard Holland Golf Course and continue on to the Sebastian Inlet. Neighborhoods include Floridana Beach, Melbourne Shores and Sunnyland Beach...because of the longer drive times and limited access to the mainland (you need to either head to the 5th Ave Causeway or through Vero Beach) many of the residents work from home or are retired.
The South Beaches still feel South Brevard County's "A rated" schools so families often consider the area when making a decision.
